VICTORY Codeworks submits upcoming MedsManager product for MIT SOLVE® 2023 Horizon Prize

Dallas, TX – May 21, 2023 – Today, VICTORY Codeworks submitted its upcoming MedsManager™  software  as a solution in the MIT SOLVE® 2023 Horizon Prize Challenge.

“I  believe MedsManager is a great fit for this challenge,” said Tony  Farrell, Principal at VICTORY Codeworks. “The solution is a relatively  simple and inexpensive tool for helping to decrease the environmental  impact of the rare disease health care space and alleviating burdens for  rare disease families. It helps reduce waste ease the diagnostic  journey for patients on medication regimens, and contributes to lower  healthcare costs for us all.”

Regimen Adherence and Health Literacy

MedsManager  is a software solution designed with mature and senior adults in mind  -- groups for whom regimen nonadherence is increasing or significant. It  is intended for use by mature adults and caregivers with the goals of  providing real-time projections of health consumables for themselves or  the people they support, and for promoting health literacy by tying in  public health data specific to personal medication regimens.

MedsManager  was also designed for use in multiple languages, which is especially  important and meant to remove the English language barrier and offer  tools non-English speaking Americans can use to better understand and  adhere to their prescribed medication therapies.

The  2023 Horizon Prize, powered by MIT Solve, seeks technology-based   solutions that decrease carbon footprints in the rare disease  healthcare  space, while centering patient priorities.  The challenge  opened on April 10th, and winners will be announced September 20th.  These events support SOLVE’s mission to drive innovation to solve world  challenges.

MedsManager will be available for download soon at https://medsmanager.info.
